Amruta Subhash has got a prominent place in today’s film industry. A product of “National School of Drama” in Delhi. She has also learnt Bharat Natyam. She has also learnt classical singing for three years. Urvashiam (1997), Bela Meri Jaan (1998), House of Bernada, Alba (1998) and Mrug Trushna (1999) are some of her dramas for National School of Drama.
She has done “Miva” a Indi-German Play. Amruta has acted in Nayi Bazar, Kdhitijaparyant Samudra, Satteche Kya Karayache, “Shree tashi Sau” “Tee Fulrani” “Pahile Vahile”.
She has acted in “Chakori, 'Shwaas'”, “Devrai”, “White Rainbo”, “Kavadase”, “Teen Bahene”, “Badhaa”, “Free Kik”, “Bagh Haat” “Dakhavun”, “Saavli”, all Hindi-Marathi films. Shaawas was nominated for Oscar award. She has given background music for “Nital” and “Teen Bahene”.
She has done lots of Teleserials like “Paaulkhuna”, “Sree”, Star Best Seller, “Bhavar”, “Zoka”, and “Katha”, “Avaghachi Sansar”. We can see Amurta in Vim bar, Nihar oil, Rasoi, Agni, Britannia, Marri gold, Airtel as a model.
Amruta known for her touching performance in Marathi daily soap opera “Avaghachi Sansaar” on Zee Marathi. She won the Zee Gaurav award in 2004 for the best actress. She is a popular face on Marathi television and this charming actress has won the hearts of Marathi fans with her performance in the Marathi drama on television “Avaghachi Sansaar” where she plays the role of a woman - Asavari who is self reliant and independent girl and after marriage gets tied up in her husbands over-possessive attitude and loses her freedom. Amruta is also planning a new innings in her life as a singer with her debut album “Jaata Jaata Paawasane”.
